celine paris dupe top, eBay, £7.49... pointe black high waisted leggings, Topshop, £25.00...black blazer, H&M, borrowed...gold chain, H&M, not online...black suede boots, £15.00, revolve in nottingham.
i finally got my dupe celine paris top in the post today, and i love it. it's got rolled up sleeves which are pinned as well so they don't keep rolling down, which is pretty convenient. it's also a little bit cropped, which is super flattering and goes well with the high waist. i know it's a dupe, but i don't think i could afford the hefty price tag of the real one. it's super good quality, being quite thick and the lettering not feeling like it'd flake in the wash. i think it looks really classic and stylish with the gold chain, once again confirming i'm trying to be a 90's rapper.
i wore the shirt in a quite formal manner, as i was going out for dinner. it's so versatile as i know i could wear it to uni and just round the house, but it's so easy to dress up as well. i wore a plain black oversized blazer, and black leggings. the crisp white of the top and the black is a nod to the current monocrome trend, and also reminds me of the graphic art trend at LFWend (featured here). i think a blazer is a key piece of a wardrobe, as it looks great on nights out or for a dinner. the leggings, again, are my favourite things evereverever at the moment and i'm so glad i got them.
i'm really trying to show make up a bit more as well, so here's my faceee again (lucky people). i'm wearing a rimmel lipstick in shade 128 'starry eyed' - although i got this in 2011 (i know!) and i'm not too sure it's still about. however there's loads of dark reds like this out there at the moment, and i love the shade. i'm just wearing simple rimmel foundation and mac powder, and basic eye makeup - don't want to go too overboard! i clipped my hair back into a huge quiff, which is my favourite way to wear it at the moment, off my face so it doesn't annoy me!
hope you enjoyed today's outfit post :) xo
